Craftsmen, Knights and Musicians entertain you from Saturday the 18th of May until Monday the 20st of May 2023 at the Flax Market in Krefeld-Linn.
This traditional Craftsmen and experience market, offers not only top quality demonstrations and presentations, but also an attractive and varied programme for the whole family.

Some of the skills and crafts give an insight into old trades, which have almost died out,
And they can be seen live on all three Market Days. Visitors experience Spinning Wheels, Hand Weavers, Loam builders, Saddlers, Rope making, Armour Blacksmiths, Chain-Mail making, Wig making, and Butter making live. Some exhibiters and artists present themselves quite modern, others in a more traditional way.

Look „over the shoulder“ of the exhibiters and learn more about their work, their ideas and traditions. Experience the high standards of Quality, Variety, Creativity, Diversity and Professionalism.

Your children can take an active part in the proceedings on many of the stands. The varied offers include turnery, pottery, felting, forging, drum making and much more.

How to reach us with your car or by train

The castle lies in Krefeld Linn on the A57 motorway. Take the exit Krefeld Centrum 7 / Linn
In the direction of Linn, and take the first turning right onto the road “Bruchfeld” and then follow the signs to the car parks. All carparking areas are close to the market, so be prepared for a short walk.

Using a Navigation system program the Rheinbabenstrasse in 47809 Krefeld.

With a train you travel to the station Krefeld Linn, and bear right upon leaving the station.

You then reach the Alten Rheinbabenstrasse from which you can see the market area and the castle.

Saturday – Family Day – Children till 16 years are admitted free
Children under 6 years of age have free entry
Children from 6 to 16 years pay 3€ (including the knights tournament)
Adults over 16 years pay 10€ (including the knights tournament)
